Our Mission is to provide a quality hockey program for persons requiring the use of an electric (power) wheelchair in daily life.

Our Program

PowerHockey™ is based on basic hockey rules with a few adaptations to allow everyone in a power wheelchair the ability to participate.

2009 Carolina PowerHockey Invitational
The Toronto Power Wheelchair Hockey League (TPWHL) will host the 2010 PowerHockey Cup at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from Fri. Aug. 6th through Mon. Aug. 9th, 2010. The tournament will feature the Calgary Seelects, Carolina Fury, Michigan Mustangs (WCHL), Minnesota Stars, Minnesota Saints, Ottawa, Toronto Rock, and the host Toronto Lake Raiders. U.S.EWHA PowerHockey Golf Tournament 2010
The 14th Annual U.S.EWHA PowerHockey Golf Tournament will be held Friday July 23rdst, 2010 at The Links @ Northfork in Ramsey, MN. The event raises funds to support the U.S.EWHA, Minnesota PowerHockey League (MPHL) as well as local travel teams Minnesota Stars and the Minnesota Saints.

The North American PowerHockey Association (N.A.P.H.A.) PowerHockey Cup 2008, presented by Otto Bock, was hosted by the U.S.EWHA in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota at Augsburg College from August 8th to 12th, 2008. Congratulations to the Calgary Selects for winning their second consecutive PowerHockey Cup Championship! The tournament featured the Minnesota Stars (2nd Place), Minnesota Saints (3rd Place), Toronto Lake Raiders (4th Place) Toronto Rock (5th Place), Michigan Mustangs (6th Place), Manitoba Moose (7th Place), and the Champion Calgary Selects. A selection of games are available for viewing and DVD purchase online at xAble.com. The 3rd place and Championship games will be broadcast by North Metro TV 15. Copies of the local TV broadcast will be available for purchase on DVD in September.
